Book a demo

You give it

  • Your approved discovery
  • An existing logo to keep, if you have one

You decide

You choose styles and a logo, pick one of four creative directions, and approve the brand.

You get

  • Style options to choose from: color theory, typography, atmospheric photography for mood and, if needed, logo
  • A new logo, when needed, as a clean vector SVG and transparent PNG
  • Four distinct creative directions, shown as animated previews
  • Color theory, typography, voice and motion rules ready for design
  • A brand book in HTML and PDF with 18 real-world mockups

A usable brand is more than a logo.

Episode 8 of Serras at Work shows how the Brand builder workflow turns real choices into a brand your whole team can use.

What must a product brand define beyond its logo?

Most brands start with a logo. A logo is useful, but it does not tell anyone how to design the next screen, write the next headline or animate the next button. A usable brand defines more: color theory, typography, a voice, and a way of moving.

The Serras Brand builder workflow makes that complete identity. It turns what you have already decided about your product into a brand your whole team can use.

Start from what the product really is

Brand builder starts from your approved Discovery. The brand grows out of what the product is, who it serves and how it should feel, not from a blank mood board.

If you already have a logo worth keeping, it stays, used exactly as supplied. Brand builder makes a new logo only when you need one.

React to real choices, not a questionnaire

A full-screen guide shows you inspiration and asks you to react. Pick as many as feel right in each step, or none.

  1. Color theory.Twenty palettes, each generated for this product.
  2. Typography.Twenty type references, found by search on curated type sources.
  3. Atmospheric photography for mood.Twenty photographs, each generated for this product.
  4. Logo.Twenty logo ideas, but only when a new logo is needed.
  5. Motion. How much the brand should move (no motion, low, medium or high) and where: transitions, navigation, feedback, loading and progress, data visualization, or marketing and hero areas.

You can add your own images too. Your uploads add to the choices and never replace them. Your picks become the brief for everything that follows.

Four directions, each made on its own

From that brief, Brand builder makes four distinct creative directions. Each one is built separately, so no direction borrows from another.

Each direction is an animated proof board, so you see the brand move: its color, type and motion working together, not only a description of them. Every board also includes a reduced-motion version for people who turn animation off. The four boards appear side by side in the Symphony decision window, with no ranking. You can pick one now, or ask the AI agents to critique all four before you choose.

Three critics who did not make the work

The review uses three independent critics, and none of them made any of the directions.

  • One looks at brand and strategy.
  • One looks at art direction and originality.
  • One looks at motion and delight.
One rubric, separate checks.

Each critic scores the work against the same creative rubric. Legibility, contrast and reduced motion are checked separately, so a beautiful idea that people cannot read does not pass on style alone. Disagreement is kept, and bold work is not marked down for being bold.

The critics recommend a direction and explain why. The recommendation is advice. You can take it, choose another direction, or hold.

The refinement pass, then you decide again

Your chosen direction is then strengthened with the critics' findings. It is not blended with the directions you did not choose, and it is not made safer just to end a disagreement. The result is written down as rules for color theory, typography, voice and motion: rules a designer, a writer or a developer can follow on a page they have never seen.

Before the brand is final, you decide again. You can approve it, ask for one focused revision, or hold it for review. A revision applies only the most important open findings, once. It does not start another round of concepts.

What you get

  • A clean vector logo, when you need a new one, as an SVG and a transparent PNG.
  • The full brand system: color, typography, voice and motion rules, ready for design.
  • A designed brand book in HTML and PDF, with 18 real-world mockups that show the brand on real objects and screens.

Every later stage, from design to the finished product, builds on it.

What Brand builder does not do

  • It does not choose for you. Every direction, recommendation and approval goes to a person.
  • It does not redraw a logo you want to keep.
  • It does not hide disagreement between the critics.
  • Approval does not prove how the brand will perform in the market. It records what you chose and why.

A short checklist before you call a brand finished

  • It defines color, typography, voice and motion, not only a logo.
  • The choices started from what the product really is.
  • You compared more than one real direction.
  • Someone who did not make the work reviewed it.
  • Legibility, contrast and reduced motion were checked on their own.
  • The rules are written so the next person can follow them.
  • A person approved the result.

Questions

Do we need Discovery first?

Yes. Brand builder starts from your approved Discovery, so the brand grows out of what the product really is.

Can we keep the logo we already have?

Yes. A logo worth keeping stays as supplied, and Brand builder makes a new logo only when you need one. If the brand is already established, Brand import keeps it intact instead.

Who chooses the creative direction?

You do. You pick one of four directions, either right away or after three independent critics review all four. Their recommendation is advice, and you can hold instead.

What do we receive at the end?

A clean vector logo when a new one is needed, rules for color theory, typography, voice and motion ready for design, and a brand book in HTML and PDF with 18 real-world mockups.
